Dr. Nelson is truly one of the most impactful educators I’ve ever had. She was my fourth-grade teacher and later became my tutor, and I can honestly say her guidance changed the trajectory of my life.

After third grade, I came from a school that had not prepared me with the reading and academic skills I needed to succeed. When I entered Dr. Nelson’s classroom, she immediately recognized where I needed support and helped me build the strong foundation I had been missing. Through her teaching and tutoring, my reading ability improved tremendously, and I quickly caught up and even advanced beyond my grade level.

Today, I’m a sophomore at Florida State University on the pre-law track, and I truly believe I wouldn’t be where I am without the confidence, skills, and love of learning that Dr. Nelson helped instill in me. She is patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in the success of every student she teaches.

If you’re looking for a tutor who not only helps students improve academically but also changes lives, I cannot recommend Dr. Nelson highly enough. I will always be grateful for everything she did for me.
